Job summary

You will manage load distribution, foster strong relationships with independent contractors and employees, and collaborate with Safety, Recruitment, and Sales to drive world-class service. The role requires strong problem-solving, communication, and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Organizational, communication and problem-solving skills essential.
• Experience in logistics/intermodal is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure independent contractor satisfaction by facilitating load distribution.
• Maintain driver relations to support driver retention and growth.
• Coordinate with Safety, Driver Recruitment, Customer Service and Sales to serve drivers and customers.
• Promote Operational Excellence with focus on safety and quality.
• Execute daily workload to meet customer requirements and deliver world-class service.
• Track and manage Gulf Winds equipment for proper utilization.
• Cross-train to cover workload when the Terminal Manager is unavailable.
• Communicate challenges and opportunities with practical solutions.
