Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must live in a GWI Market Area.
• Previous Transportation experience preferred.
• Must be dependable and able to work independently.
• Must possess professional communication & writing skills.
• Must be a self-starter and willing to work with minimal supervision.
• Problem resolution skills and computer literacy are essential.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook; Prism Software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Independent Contractor satisfaction by facilitating load distribution.
• Achieve driver retention and growth goals by ensuring driver success while maintaining strong relationships with drivers.
• Work with Safety, Driver Recruitment, Customer Service and Sales to serve drivers and customers.
• Promote operational excellence focused on safety and quality.
• Execute daily workload to meet customer requirements for World Class service.
• Track and manage Gulf Winds equipment for proper utilization.
• Cross-train to cover workload distribution when the Terminal Manager is out.
• Communicate challenges and opportunities with creative solutions.
• Manage costs to increase terminal profitability while minimizing customer costs.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and stock supplies; monitor quarterly KPIs.
