Job summary

Gulf Winds International, Inc. is seeking a Dispatcher to ensure timely, accurate and efficient service to our customers and drivers across multiple terminals.

The role requires strong problem-solving, leadership, and exceptional communications abilities to coordinate load distribution and drive outcomes. You will work with Safety, Driver Recruitment, Customer Service and Sales, track equipment, manage quarterly KPIs and maintain a safe, clean facility while controlling costs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure Independent Contractor satisfaction by facilitating load distribution.
• Achieve driver retention and growth goals while maintaining relationships with contractors and drivers.
• Collaborate with Safety, Driver Recruitment, Customer Service and Sales to serve drivers and customers.
• Promote a culture of Operational Excellence focused on safety and quality.
• Execute daily workload to meet customer requirements and World Class service.
• Track and manage Gulf Winds equipment for proper utilization.
• Cross-train to cover workload distribution when the Terminal Manager is out.
• Communicate challenges/opportunities and provide creative solutions.
• Manage costs to increase terminal profitability and minimize costs to customers.
• Ensure facility maintenance, cleanliness, and stocking of supplies.
• Manage quarterly KPIs to support company goals.
