Job summary

RESPEC in Reston, VA is seeking an experienced IT Asset Project Manager – Intermediate to support IA and OIT programs. You will manage IT asset lifecycles, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure delivery in accordance with federal requirements.

The role blends IT asset management with Change & Configuration Management, Business Analysis, or Quality Management to drive asset accuracy, compliance, and value across hardware, software, and licensing portfolios.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of project management experience.
• Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Hands-on IT Asset Management experience across hardware, software, licensing, and inventory.
• Experience maintaining asset traceability and lifecycle records.
• Experience coordinating with CORs, government stakeholders, vendors, and contractors.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT asset lifecycle from acquisition to disposition.
• Maintain asset records and traceability.
• Coordinate with CORs, government stakeholders, vendors, and contractors.
• Lead Program Increment (PI) Planning activities.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and dashboards.
