Job summary

RESPEC Inc. is seeking an IT Asset Project Manager – Intermediate to support IA and OIT programs. The role focuses on IT Asset Management (ITAM) while guiding projects through scope, schedule, cost, and risk. You will coordinate government, vendor, and contractor stakeholders to ensure compliant, timely delivery.

The ideal candidate brings IT asset lifecycle experience, change management, and strong PMI/PMBOK knowledge, with proven project leadership in federal environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of project management experience.
• Current PMP certification.
• Experience with IT Asset Management involving hardware, software, licensing, inventory, or related enterprise IT asset processes.
• Experience managing hardware and software assets throughout asset lifecycle.
• Experience maintaining asset traceability and inventory records.
• Experience supporting IT service‑request fulfillment and product‑authorization processes.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Hands‑on experience leading Program Increment (PI) Planning.
• Knowledge of PMI/PMBOK principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage the lifecycle of IT assets from acquisition through disposition.
• Maintain asset records and traceability across systems and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with vendors and government stakeholders to ensure delivery and compliance.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, dashboards, and governance artifacts.
• Lead PI Planning, prioritize backlogs, and align with program objectives.
