Collins Aerospace is seeking a senior Materials & Process Engineering Manager to lead the Interiors M&P team, directing strategy for composite and metallic interior components. The role drives qualification, industrialization, and supplier collaboration to ensure manufacturability and regulatory compliance.

The candidate will develop talent, optimize processes, and manage budgets and priorities to align with company goals and delivery timelines.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM fields with 10+ years experience, or advanced degree with 7+ years.
• Expertise in composite materials, resin systems, bonding, cure processes.
• Experience leading teams and industrialization.
• Strong communication and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a global Materials & Process Engineering team.
• Serve as technical authority for materials and processes across interiors product lines.
• Oversee development, qualification of composite materials and finishes.
• Partner with Design Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to industrialize new materials.
• Drive root-cause analysis for material/process nonconformities.
• Build relationships with suppliers and research institutions.
• Champion process optimization and documentation improvements.
• Manage resources, priorities, budgeting, staffing.
