Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a highly motivated Sr Project Engineer to lead the development of aircraft interior programs, focusing on monuments and cabin structures. You will oversee end-to-end programs, ensuring certification readiness and on-time delivery in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams, applying strong project management and communication skills to drive technical alignment and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree and 5+ years leading engineering programs or an advanced degree with 3+ years experience.
• Proven experience leading engineering or development programs with cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of aircraft interiors, materials, manufacturing, and certification considerations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development programs for aircraft interior components from concept through certification and delivery.
• Manage scope, schedule, risks, and deliverables while ensuring compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and program management to drive alignment and on-time execution.
• Serve as technical contact for customer interactions, design reviews, and engineering decisions.
• Support or lead work transfer activities, including planning, documentation, and site handoffs.
