Job summary

Five Below in Illinois seeks an Interim Support Lead to ensure an outstanding shopping experience. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will assist with front end operations, cash management, merchandising, cleanliness, safety and driving sales.

You will take on Manager on Duty responsibilities during shifts, train crew on the BEST customer service, supervise daily activities, open or close the store, secure cash, and coordinate with the leadership team to boost sales and control costs.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members wow the customer through personal contact.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure excellent service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking and organizing new stock for fast shelf placement.
• Act as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations and staff.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising and service.
• Work with store leadership on merchandising procedures and recoveries.
• Perform store maintenance including cleaning and stock room upkeep.
