Job summary

Five Below is seeking an Interim Support Lead to ensure an outstanding shopping experience. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will support front-end operations, cash handling, merchandising, cleanliness, safety, and sales.

You may serve as Manager on Duty during shifts and help develop the team through onboarding and ongoing training. This temporary role offers leadership growth during peak times, with responsibilities across opening/closing, cash security, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure performance and service quality.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed and handle store operations and staff management.
• Open/close the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms, ensure smooth daily operation.
• Support onboarding and training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
• Coordinate with store leadership on merchandising procedures.
