Job summary

Five Below is seeking an Interim Support Lead to assist with front end operations, cash management, merchandising, and maintaining a safe, clean store environment in our California location. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will act as Manager On Duty during shifts and help set a positive tone for the team.

You will train crew on the BEST customer service experience, oversee daily activities, manage stock, and strive to drive sales while controlling expenses.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure crew provides WOW customer service with personal interactions.
• Train crew on the BEST customer service experience and fast checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure service quality.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty during shifts and manage store operations.
• Open/close responsibilities including cash handling, security, and store readiness.
