Job summary

Five Below, Inc. is seeking a store leadership professional to manage daily operations, train crew on the BEST customer service experience, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout.

The role includes opening/closing the store, supervising associates, and driving sales through merchandising and service excellence. This hourly position requires a high school diploma, 1+ year of management experience, and flexibility for day/evening/weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers with personal contact at checkout.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensures fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversees daily store activities and staff performance; delivers excellent customer service.
• Assists with receiving and stocking to keep shelves ready for shoppers.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, handling store operations, staff, and urgent issues.
• Opens or closes the store, secures cash, sets alarms, and prepares for daily operations.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drives store sales by optimizing merchandising, staff performance and service quality.
• Collaborates with leadership on merchandising procedures and recovery plans.
• Maintains cleanliness and stockroom organization; performs general maintenance tasks.
