Job summary

Five Below is seeking an Interim Support Lead to help run a Kentucky store. You will assist with front-end operations, cash management, merchandising, cleanliness, and safety, while stepping into Manager On Duty duties during shifts.

The role supports onboarding and training of associates, drives sales, and partners with the leadership team to optimize merchandising and store performance during peak periods.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• College experience preferred
• Minimum 1 years of management experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Creative thinking
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure

Responsibilities

• Ensures crew members wow the customer through personal contact
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience ensuring fast, friendly checkout
• Oversee daily activities of store associates, ensuring duties are performed and service maintained
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing stock for quick placement on sales floor
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed, handling store operations and staff management
• Open/close store processes including cash, doors, alarms, and daily operation readiness
• Support onboarding and training of associates on policies and procedures
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising, performance, and service
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising procedures and recovery
• Perform store maintenance and ensure a clean, safe environment
