Five Below in Kentucky is seeking a Store Manager on Duty to oversee daily store operations and guest experience. You will supervise crew, assist with onboarding, and ensure cash handling and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities include driving sales through merchandising, managing schedules, and coaching associates to deliver excellent service while maintaining a welcoming, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact at checkout and service.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and ensures strong customer service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, handling store operations and staff issues.
• Manages opening/closing procedures, cash handling, alarms, and daily setup.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drives sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising and staff performance.
• Performs store maintenance and collaborates with leadership on merchandising.
• Assists with merchandising procedures and World Recovery with leadership team.
