Job summary

Five Below is seeking an Interim Support Lead in Covington, LA to guide front-end operations, cash management, merchandising, and safety. This temporary role includes Manager on Duty responsibilities during shifts and helping the team deliver a WOW shopping experience.

The position requires a high school diploma, at least 1 year of management experience, and strong communication with the ability to multi-task and stay composed under pressure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all crew members wow the customer with personal contact.
• Train crew on the BEST customer service experience and checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure performance.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking and organizing new stock.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed for store operations and staff.
• Open/close the store securely and manage alarms.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and service.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising and World Recovery.
• Perform general store maintenance and housekeeping.
