Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality is seeking an Acting General Manager to provide interim leadership and oversee hotel operations within an ownership portfolio. The role steps in for full GM duties during transitions, projects, and initiatives, partnering with owners, corporate teams, and hotel staff to sustain guest experiences and financial performance.

Responsibilities include managing daily operations, driving revenue and expenses, leading sales and business development, and developing hotel leadership

Qualifications

• 4–6 years progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
• Experience as a General Manager highly preferred.
• Multi-brand leadership experience preferred.
• Frequent travel and temporary assignments within an ownership portfolio.
• Proficient in Windows operating systems, company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing applications.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Assume full responsibility for hotel operations, ensuring compliance with company, ownership, and brand standards while delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Financial Performance: Drive revenue growth, expense management, budgeting, forecasting, and overall profitability to achieve ownership and company objectives.
• Sales & Business Development: Partner with sales and revenue teams to maximize market performance, strengthen client relationships, and identify growth opportunities.
• Leadership & Team Development: Lead, coach, and develop hotel leadership teams while fostering associate engagement, accountability, and a culture of service excellence.
• Ownership & Stakeholder Relations: Serve as the primary liaison with ownership groups, brand representatives, corporate leaders, and key business partners to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Transition & Stabilization Management: Provide leadership during management transitions, hotel openings, renovations, operational challenges, and special assignments to ensure business continuity and successful outcomes.
