Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality is seeking an Acting General Manager to provide interim leadership and operational oversight for hotels within an assigned ownership portfolio. This role assumes full General Manager responsibilities during leadership transitions, special projects, and performance initiatives to drive guest satisfaction and standards.

You will partner with ownership, corporate teams, and hotel staff to drive revenue, manage budgets, and ensure consistency across properties.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years progressive experience in a hotel or related field
• Experience as a General Manager highly preferred
• Multi-brand leadership experience preferred
• Willingness to travel frequently and take short-term assignments within portfolio
• Proficient in Windows OS, company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing tools
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Assume full hotel operations leadership, ensuring compliance with standards and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Drive revenue growth, manage expenses, budgeting, forecasting and profitability to meet ownership goals.
• Partner with sales and revenue teams to maximize market performance and client relationships.
• Lead, coach and develop hotel leadership teams while fostering engagement and service excellence.
• Serve as liaison with ownership, brand representatives, corporate leaders and partners for alignment.
• Provide leadership during transitions, openings, renovations, and other disruptions to ensure continuity.
