Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee hotel operations and profitability, ensuring excellent guest experiences and team performance. You will supervise departments, recruit and train staff, and partner with the General Manager to optimize day‑to‑day hotel performance.

The role requires supervisory experience, a calm under pressure demeanor, and certifications such as Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid.

Qualifications

• Five years of progressive hotel experience in Rooms or F&B.
• Supervisory background required.
• Ability to stay calm and objective under pressure.
• Must hold or obtain Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid certifications.
• Overtime eligible manager position.

Responsibilities

• Supervise multiple departments and drive hotel profitability by skillfully managing teams and partnering with the General Manager to keep everything running smoothly.
• Proactively spot challenges and tackle them head‑on to ensure every day at the hotel flows as efficiently as possible.
• Recruit, hire, and train Guest Services staff, and help all team members—from managers to hourly employees—grow through development programs and ongoing training.
• Listen actively, understand concerns, and keep the lines of communication crystal clear with both colleagues and guests.
• Work with financial info and data, using your math skills to support our hotel’s operations.
• Use Windows Operating Systems to manage operations and reporting.
• Maintain professional appearance and grooming, ensuring everyone meets company guidelines.
• Show a friendly, service‑focused attitude to every guest and teammate interaction, ensuring everyone walks away happy.
