Job summary

Tobii Dynavox is seeking a Interim Funding Consultant to coordinate intake, submission, and follow-up of funding orders for products, repairs, and rentals. You will work with SLPs, insurers, and educational institutions to secure authorizations and ensure documents meet payer criteria.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and familiarity with health insurance processes in a fast-paced setting; travel to the Pittsburgh office may be required occasionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required with 2–4 years in funding, health insurance or related field.
• Strong communication and customer service orientation.
• Proficient in MS Office and data review.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain communication with SLPs on funding cases and instruct on documentation prepares funding policies and regulations.
• Coordinate new product, repair, and rental orders with providers.
• Track funding authorizations to resolution in a timely manner.
• Review documents to meet third-party payer criteria.
• Serve as client advocate with third-party insurers and troubleshoot issues to resolution.
• Alert supervisor to potential third-party payer challenges.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
