Job summary

CDM Smith in the United States seeks an Intelligent Modeling Coordinator for transit and multimodal projects. This role can be based in any US office and focuses on integrating architectural, transportation, roadway and MEP models into a single federated, clash‑checked deliverable.

You will run Navisworks clash detection, enforce CAD/BIM standards, and mentor staff across offices to sustain a repeatable modeling capability.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, with vocational CADD drafting tech training.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Travel (domestic/international) may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline coordination across architecture, vertical and transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP.
• Run Navisworks clash detection and lead resolution across disciplines.
• Establish and enforce CAD/BIM standards and workflows on Autodesk stack.
• Mentor production staff and provide design sketches for deliverables.
• Interface with clients, agencies, and subconsultants on model deliverables.
