Job summary

CDM Smith in the United States is seeking an Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to lead cross-disciplinary BIM workflows across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design and MEP.

You will coordinate models, run clash detection in Navisworks, establish CADD/BIM standards, mentor production staff, and interface with clients, agencies and subconsultants on model deliverable requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational technical training in basic CADD drafting technology and intelligent modeling.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional related experience considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline coordination across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP.
• Runs clash detection in Navisworks and leads resolution across disciplines.
• Establishes, documents, and enforces CADD/BIM standards, templates, and workflows.
• Mentors and guides production staff across offices to build capability.
• Interfaces with clients, agencies, and subconsultants on model deliverable requirements.
• Develops BIM Execution Plans and advises pursuit teams on LOD and LOE.
