Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Intelligent Modeling Coordinator for US offices. You will coordinate intelligent models across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP, ensuring a federated, clash-checked deliverable-ready model throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include running Navisworks clash detection, enforcing CAD/BIM standards, mentoring staff, and contributing to BIM execution planning.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational training in CADD drafting.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cross-discipline deliverables across architecture, structural, roadway and MEP.
• Run clash detection in Navisworks and lead resolution across disciplines.
• Establish and enforce CADD/BIM standards and workflows.
• Mentor production staff and provide design sketches for deliverables.
• Develop BIM Execution Plans and advise on LOD and LOE.
• Interface with clients, agencies, and subconsultants on data handoff standards.
• Perform basic design calculations and ensure model integrity.
