Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to join our transit and multimodal project teams in the US. You will lead cross-discipline modeling efforts, coordinate designs across architecture, structures, roadway, and MEP, and ensure federated, clash-checked deliverables.

Responsibilities include running Navisworks clash detection, enforcing BIM/CADD standards, and mentoring junior staff. You will collaborate with clients, agencies, and subconsultants to align model deliverables

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational technical training in basic CADD drafting technology and intelligent modeling.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate intelligent models across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP.
• Run clash detection in Navisworks and lead resolution across disciplines.
• Establish, document, and enforce CADD/BIM standards and workflows.
• Mentor and guide production staff to build repeatable modeling capability.
• Interface with clients, agencies, and subconsultants on model deliverable requirements.
