Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a skilled Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to join our team in the United States. The role focuses on coordinating intelligent models across architecture, transportation structures, and MEP, while leading clash detection and ensuring deliverables are federated and compliant with standards.

You will mentor junior staff, develop BIM Execution Plans, and collaborate with clients and agencies to define model deliverables and design criteria for project phases.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational training in CADD drafting or intelligent modeling.
• 12 years of related experience in CADD/BIM for transit or multimodal projects.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline coordination across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design and MEP.
• Runs clash detection in Navisworks and leads resolution across disciplines.
• Establishes and enforces CADD/BIM standards and workflows.
• Mentors production staff and provides design sketches for deliverables.
• Interfaces with clients, agencies and subconsultants on model deliverable requirements.
• Performs basic to complex modeling and ensures model integrity and interoperability across Autodesk tools.
