Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an experienced Intelligent Modeling Coordinator for transit and multimodal projects. You will coordinate intelligent models across architecture, vertical/ transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP into federated, clash-checked deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires 12 years of experience in CADD/BIM, strong Autodesk Navisworks skills, and the ability to mentor staff while upholding standards and governance across offices.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational training in CADD drafting and intelligent modeling.
• 12 years of related experience; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline coordination across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP.
• Model coordination and clash detection using Navisworks and other tools.
• Establishes and enforces CADD/BIM standards, templates, and workflows.
• Mentors production staff and guides lower-level modeling personnel.
• Interfaces with clients, agencies, and subconsultants on model deliverable requirements.
