Job summary

CDM Smith seeks an Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to lead model coordination across design disciplines on transit and multimodal projects. You will run clash detection in Navisworks, develop and enforce BIM standards, and mentor staff to deliver integrated, clash-free deliverables.

Travel and collaboration with clients and subconsultants are expected. The role emphasizes coordinating across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP, using Autodesk

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or equivalent with vocational training in CADD drafting and intelligent modeling.
• 12 years of related experience in CADD/BIM coordination for transit or multimodal projects.

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline coordination across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP.
• Lead clash detection in Navisworks and resolution across disciplines.
• Establish and enforce CADD/BIM standards and workflows.
• Mentor production staff and provide design sketches for deliverables.
• Ensure model integrity, versioning, and interoperability across Autodesk tools.
