Job summary

CDM Smith seeks an experienced Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to support transit and multimodal projects. You will coordinate models across architecture, structures, transportation, roadway design, and MEP to deliver federated, clash-checked deliverables.

The role requires expertise with Navisworks, Autodesk Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM standards. You will mentor production staff, ensure design criteria and governance, and interface with clients and subconsultants throughout the project

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational training in CADD drafting tech and intelligent modeling.
• 12 years of related experience; travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline coordination across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP.
• Model coordination and clash detection using Navisworks and BIM tools.
• Establish and enforce CADD/BIM standards and templates.
• Mentor and guide production staff across offices.
• Serve as Intelligent Modeling Coordinator through project lifecycle.
• Perform crosschecks and maintain model health and interoperability.
