Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a skilled Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to lead cross-discipline coordination on transit and multimodal projects. You will integrate architectural, structural, roadway, and MEP models into federated, clash-checked deliverables across the project lifecycle.

You will establish and enforce BIM/CADD standards, mentor production staff, and coordinate with clients, agencies, and subconsultants while maintaining model health and design integrity using Navisworks, Civil 3D,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational CADD training.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Willing to travel 10% or less.

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline coordination — coordinating intelligent models across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP.
• Model coordination & clash detection — run clash checks and resolve across disciplines.
• Standards & governance — establish and enforce CADD/BIM standards and templates.
• Mentorship & guidance — mentor production staff and provide design sketches.
• Acts as Intelligent Modeling Coordinator for project lifecycle coordination.
• Performs crosscheck of drawings for consistency and QC adherence.
