Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Intelligent Modeling Coordinator for transit and multimodal projects. You will coordinate models across architecture, structures, transportation, roadway design, and MEP to deliver a federated, clash-checked product.

You will establish BIM standards, mentor staff, and ensure coordination across offices, with travel up to 10% as needed. Proficiency in Autodesk tools is required to support project delivery.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational technical training in basic CADD drafting technology and intelligent modeling.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required; travel up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline coordination across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP to create a federated, clash-checked model.
• Model coordination and clash detection using Navisworks; lead resolution across disciplines.
• Establishes, documents, and enforces CADD/BIM standards, templates, and workflows across offices.
• Mentor and guide production staff to build repeatable BIM capabilities across geographies.
• Interfaces with clients, agencies, and subconsultants on model deliverable requirements and data handoff standards.
