Job summary

CDM Smith currently seeks an Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to lead cross-discipline coordination for transit and multimodal projects. You will integrate architectural, vertical and transportation structures with MEP, manage model health, and enforce BIM standards across offices.

The role emphasizes mentoring production staff, delivering clash-free federated models, and coordinating with clients and agencies on deliverable requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational training in CADD drafting and intelligent modeling.
• 12 years of related experience or equivalent combined with education.
• Experience coordinating across architecture, structure, transportation, roadway, and MEP disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate intelligent models across multiple design disciplines on transit and multimodal projects.
• Run clash detection in Navisworks and lead resolution between disciplines.
• Develop and enforce BIM/CADD standards, templates, and workflows.
• Mentor production staff and provide design sketches for deliverables.
• Ensure model health, versioning, and interoperability across Autodesk and Bentley toolsets.
