Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a skilled Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to support transit and multimodal projects. You will coordinate models across architecture, vertical structures, roadway design, and MEP, and run Navisworks clash detection to resolve conflicts early in the design process.

You will establish BIM standards, develop execution plans, and mentor junior staff while interacting with clients and subconsultants to ensure deliverables meet project requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational training in CADD/intelligent modeling.
• 12 years of related experience in design modeling and project coordination.
• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally as required by projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate intelligent models across architecture, vertical/transportation structures, roadway, and MEP.
• Run clash detection and lead resolution across disciplines.
• Develop BIM Execution Plans and advise on model-based deliverables.
• Maintain design standards, templates, and workflows per Autodesk and DOT requirements.
• Mentor production staff and provide design sketches for finished drawings.
