Job summary

Meds Talent LLC in Fredericksburg, VA, seeks an experienced Federal Business Development professional to drive growth across the US government sector. You will lead capture efforts, build a strong pipeline, and guide win strategies with government partners.

Responsibilities include coordinating through the federal procurement lifecycle, supporting proposal development, and maintaining market insight to position the company for successful contract awards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Government, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of business development, capture, or sales experience in federal contracting.
Demonstrated success winning federal contracts (prime and/or subcontract).
Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS and federal acquisition processes.
Experience with contract vehicles (GWACs, IDIQs, BPAs, GSA Schedules).
Established network within federal agencies and/or government contractors.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Lead business development and capture efforts across the full federal procurement lifecycle—from opportunity identification through contract award.
Build and maintain a qualified pipeline aligned with company capabilities, develop and execute win strategies, and foster strong relationships with government stakeholders and industry partners.
Support proposal development by contributing to solutioning, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning.
Monitor market trends, competitors, and regulatory changes to inform growth strategy, while maintaining accurate pipeline tracking and reporting within CRM systems.
