Job summary

AAC is seeking a driven Business Development Executive to expand its federal civilian and defense market presence from Vienna, VA. You will identify opportunities, build relationships with contracting officers and program managers, and support capture and proposal activities across cybersecurity, cloud, and IT services.

You will work with executive leadership to shape opportunity strategies, monitor forecasts, and maintain accurate CRM records, contributing to a growing, results-focused pipeline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of federal business development experience.
• Demonstrated experience identifying and qualifying federal government opportunities.
• Understanding of federal procurement processes and FAR-based acquisitions.
• Experience supporting opportunities throughout the business development and capture lifecycle.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Existing relationships within targeted federal agencies and industry partners.
• Experience supporting the sale of Cybersecurity, Cloud Solutions, IT Service Management, Digital Transformation Services.
• Experience working with GWACs, IDIQs, BPAs, and task order environments.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities across federal civilian and defense agencies.
• Maintain a pipeline of opportunities aligned with AAC's strategic growth objectives.
• Research and monitor opportunities through GovWin, SAM.gov, agency forecasts, and industry sources.
• Develop account plans for targeted agencies and customers.
• Maintain timely opportunity information within AAC's CRM.
• Participate in opportunity qualification and bid/no-bid discussions.
• Build and maintain relationships with Contracting Officers, Program Managers, Technical Leadership, CIO Organizations, and Industry Partners.
• Support capture efforts by collecting customer and competitive intelligence and assisting with win strategy development.
• Collaborate with proposal teams on win themes, discriminators, and price-to-win strategy.
