Job summary

Global Dimensions in Fredericksburg, VA, seeks an experienced Business Development and Capture professional to drive growth across the federal procurement lifecycle. You will identify opportunities, build a robust pipeline, and coordinate with government stakeholders and partners to win contracts.

Role requires 5+ years in federal contracting, a proven track record in winning contracts, and deep knowledge of FAR/DFARS, with strong communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Government, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of BD, capture, or sales experience in federal contracting.
• Demonstrated success winning federal contracts (prime and/or subcontract).
• Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS and federal acquisition processes.
• Experience with contract vehicles (GWACs, IDIQs, BPAs, GSA Schedules).
• Established network within federal agencies and/or government contractors.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Desirable: IT, cybersecurity, Special Ops, linguistics, intelligence, engineering, logistics; Active Secret/Top Secret clearance; GovWin, SAM.gov, FPDS, USAspending; APMP certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development and capture efforts across the full federal procurement lifecycle—from opportunity identification through contract award.
• Build and maintain a qualified pipeline aligned with company capabilities, develop and execute win strategies, and foster relationships with government stakeholders and industry partners.
• Support proposal development by contributing to solutioning, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning.
• Monitor market trends, competitors, and regulatory changes to inform growth strategy, with accurate pipeline tracking and reporting in CRM systems.
