Job summary

HDR is seeking a Business Class Lead in Environmental Planning to guide delivery of water resource planning projects for federal clients. You will mentor staff, promote a quality culture, and drive growth with HDR's market-facing teams across disciplines.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 10+ years of experience, professional registration, and strong communication. You will lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate staff development, client engagement, and project delivery within HDR's

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • A minimum of 10 years experience required.
  • Professional registration/license/certification may be required based on role.
  • Strong communication and listening skills are essential.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Active participation in our employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

  • Fostering a quality culture through project delivery excellence and staff coaching; act as Quality Control lead and technical lead on projects.
  • Lead or support standards, guidelines, tools, checklists and workflows to enhance service quality and efficiency.
  • Participate in tactical planning; align initiatives with market drivers and client needs; assist with recruiting key positions.
  • Collaborate with HDR staff and clients to develop qualifications and project approaches; lead or contribute to pursuits.
