Job summary

DeCoach Recovery Centre is seeking an Intake Specialist to be the first point of contact for clients and families, guiding them through the admissions process with empathy and clear information.

You will coordinate admissions paperwork, insurance verification, and scheduling, working with clinical and outreach teams to ensure a smooth transition from first call to admission. No addiction experience is required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills with empathy and professionalism.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and guide clients as the first point of contact for admissions.
• Coordinate admissions paperwork, insurance verification, and pre-authorizations.
• Stay connected with clients, families, and referral sources for follow-ups.
• Educate and support clients and families about the recovery process and available resources.
• Track admissions data and participate in process improvement discussions.
