Job summary

The Camp Recovery Center in California is seeking an Intake Specialist responsible for the intake process, liaising with remote admissions, and welcoming clients on arrival. You will support the initial assessment, coordinate with clinical staff for treatment planning, and ensure paperwork is completed accurately.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years in patient care, preferably in behavioral health.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; able to use required computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with client/family of potential admissions to address questions.
• Coordinate facility tours with clients and families.
• Interface with remote admissions and on-site clinical team for approvals and plan for client arrival.
• Establish rapport with clients to ensure they feel welcome on arrival.
• Support intake process including assessment, bed placement, and belongings search.
