POWER Recovery Intake Specialist position is the first point of contact for women seeking treatment and recovery services. You will coordinate referrals, screen applicants, schedule assessments, and assist admissions with compassion and professionalism.

You will maintain confidential records, collaborate with clinical teams, and ensure timely access to care while upholding HIPAA and agency policies. Strong customer service and behavioral health experience are essential.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in substance use disorder treatment, behavioral health, healthcare admissions, intake coordination, case management, or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, EHR systems, SharePoint, and other business applications.
• Knowledge of confidentiality requirements, including HIPAA regulations.
• Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Act 73, 33, and 34 Clearances required for POWER positions.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate referrals and establish relationships with referral sources and community partners.
• Conduct screening interviews (phone, virtual, in-person) to assess treatment needs and urgency.
• Schedule assessments with clinicians and relay appointment details to clients.
• Assist with admissions coordination and documentation, ensuring timely access to services.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in EHR and other systems.
• Protect client privacy in all communications and documentation.
• Provide trauma-informed, compassionate client engagement and information about program options.
