Job summary

Altman Nussbaum Shunnarah Trial Attorneys, a rapidly growing personal injury law firm, seeks an Intake Specialist to join our Newton, MA office. You will be the first point of contact for prospective clients, gathering information and directing cases to the legal team.

This 100% onsite role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to guide clients through initial intake while maintaining compassionate service during stressful times.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort speaking with clients over the phone and gathering sensitive information.
• Experience in intake, customer service, call centers, or legal environments is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work onsite in our Boston office.

Responsibilities

• Be the first connection: answer incoming calls and respond to online inquiries from potential clients seeking legal assistance.
• Conduct intakes: gather key details about accidents and injuries while guiding clients through the initial intake process.
• Capture critical information: accurately enter client information and case details into the firm’s case management system.
• Support case evaluation: work closely with attorneys and staff to ensure cases are reviewed and routed efficiently.
• Deliver excellent service: provide compassionate and professional communication to clients during what is often a stressful time.
