You will guide patients through required paperwork, help with scheduling, and ensure accurate data entry in the EMR. This role supports Medicaid/Medicare signups, prepares daily reports, and collaborates with clinic staff to deliver high‑quality care in a community health setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of a standard high school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of prior experience in an office or health-related position.
• Ability to interact with a diverse population and provide excellent customer service.
• Proficiency with scheduling, data entry, and basic billing/documentation requirements.
• Familiarity with Medicaid/Medicare eligibility and enrollment processes.

Responsibilities

• Greets clients and visitors to clinic and assists with the check-in process.
• Makes appointments and educates clients regarding documents needed for service.
• Answers phones and directs calls accurately.
• Enters, maintains, and retrieves data in the IHC computer system.
