Job summary

BayMark Health Services, Inc. is seeking an Intake Coordinator to greet clients at the residential admission and guide them through the intake process, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience.

You will collaborate with Admissions, maintain records in the EMR, schedule and coordinate appointments, and support care teams with timely information to enhance client care and operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least 1-year prior experience preferred.
• Communicating effectively in written and oral form.
• Time management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Initiative to take charge of unforeseen situations, solve problems and adjust to changes.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Satisfactory references from employers and/or professional peers.
• Satisfactory criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• The Intake Coordinator is the first point of contact for clients upon admission and ensures an efficient admission process.
• Works with Admissions to coordinate smooth client landing, including arrival timing and external stakeholder contact.
• Completes admission forms with the responsible party or client.
• Updates admissions communication on Teams to ensure transparency and collaboration.
• Completes all admission forms within the electronic medical record system.
• Maintains client binders, curriculum, and materials.
• Coordinates with health providers for additional admission needs and client engagement.
