Job summary

The BridgeWay seeks an Intake Coordinator to support the assessment team by coordinating efficient admissions. You will receive referrals, verify information, and schedule assessments, working closely with Nursing and external clinicians to ensure clinically appropriate admissions.

Responsibilities include data entry in hospital systems and related clerical duties, contributing to a smooth intake workflow in a behavioral health setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology or related field.
• 1 year experience with insurance verification/billing preferred.
• Current CPR and CPI licenses.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the admission process for all patients, receiving referrals and scheduling assessments.
• Gather and verify pertinent information and complete procedures for admissions.
• Collaborate with Nursing and external clinicians to facilitate admissions.
• Input statistical information into hospital systems; perform clerical duties as needed.
