Buckeye Home Medical Equipment is seeking an Intake Coordinator for a full-time, on-site role based in Livingston, TN. You will receive and review new patient referrals, verify documentation, and ensure accuracy in patient records and orders while coordinating with clinicians and office staff.

You will communicate with patients, families, and providers, collect demographic and insurance information, and help resolve issues related to eligibility and documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Knowledge of case management processes to coordinate referrals, documentation, and follow-up care.
• Ability to understand and use medical terminology relevant to home medical equipment and patient documentation.
• Familiarity with insurance processes, including verification, authorizations, and coverage requirements.
• Proficiency with basic office software, data entry, and electronic health or intake systems.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple referrals and documents accurately.
