Job summary

Tennessee Oncology is seeking a New Patient Liaison to manage intake of new patient referrals for our clinics. You will triage diagnoses, schedule intake, and communicate with referring physicians to ensure a smooth first appointment.

Ideal candidates have a HS Diploma, basic computer skills in Word and Excel, and prefer healthcare experience with EMR familiarity. Travel to other clinics may be required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Prefer experience in healthcare and familiarity with EMR.

Responsibilities

• Answers incoming new patient calls and collects demographic and insurance information.
• Ensures necessary records are collected for evaluation and scheduling.
• Communicates with referring physicians and outside entities to obtain medical history.
• Coordinates with clinic staff to schedule new patient appointments.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA regulations.
• Supports patients through intake processes and documentation.
