Job summary

East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is seeking an Intake Coordinator in East Providence to be the first point of contact for patients, handling check-in, screenings, and basic clinical support services. You will maintain patient records, schedule appointments, and coordinate referrals to resources while upholding HIPAA and privacy standards.

The role combines administrative coordination with clinical support, focusing on compassionate, patient-centered care and seamless daily operations

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in healthcare, medical office or customer service
• Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy
• Associate degree in Health Administration, Medical Assisting, or related field
• Spanish language skills preferred
• Understanding of social determinants of health
