Job summary

AdaptHealth, LLC seeks an Intake Specialist to support patient access by coordinating referrals, reviewing documentation, and ensuring services are set up accurately and efficiently. You’ll collaborate with patients, providers, referral sources, and internal teams to navigate insurance requirements and confirm eligibility.

This role rewards detail-oriented work, patient communication, and collaboration across teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of relatable work experience required.
• High School Diploma or higher; Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience in management, administrative, clerical, insurance, billing, claims, call center, or customer service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review referrals and payer guidelines to determine eligibility and compliance prior to service delivery.
• Communicate with patients regarding financial responsibility and document interactions accurately.
• Enter referrals within established timeframes while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
• Coordinate with leaders to ensure inventory and services are selected and scheduled.
• Support team operations and follow company policies and procedures.
