The position requires a high school diploma (bachelor’s preferred), valid driver’s license, knowledge of ICD-10, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Background checks are mandatory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s or associate degree preferred.
• Experience with intake and admissions.
• Familiarity with social security and Medicaid.
• Proficiency in Microsoft suites.
• Employment is contingent upon background checks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the point person for all admissions into programs.
• Assure service authorizations in Therap are created and maintained.
• Gather necessary documents for all new admissions.
• Attend pre-placement meetings for admissions.
• Enroll/admit individuals into Therap.
• Collaborate with billing and regional offices to troubleshoot billing issues.
• Generate billing data for the billing specialist when necessary.
• Cooperate with licensing and department staff during inspections.
