Job summary

Groups Recover Together is seeking a Recovery Access Specialist to serve as the first contact for members during intake, offering warm, informed guidance and coordinating initial steps in the program.

You will handle calls, answer clinical questions, conduct biopsychosocial assessments with motivational interviewing, and schedule initial appointments using EMR, all while upholding Groups’ mission-driven culture and values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• At least 1 year in human services/healthcare or customer service; healthcare, retail or hospitality experience preferred.
• Reliable internet and phone with 10 Mbps down and 5 Mbps up; strong home Wi-Fi.
• Must meet pre-employment requirements and background screening (fingerprinting, drug testing, health screening, CPR/First Aid, credentials).

Responsibilities

• Answer calls in a welcoming, energetic manner.
• Explain organizational structure and criteria to members.
• Provide educated answers to clinical questions and identify caller needs.
• Initiate biopsychosocial assessment using motivational interviewing to determine eligibility.
• Schedule initial intake appointments using EMR.
• Coordinate client intake and no-show follow-ups with clinic staff.
• Demonstrate Groups' culture and values to build therapeutic rapport.
