Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a clinic receptionist to provide excellent customer service, collect and input data into the registration system, and obtain necessary signatures and notices for patients and families.

The role includes verifying insurance, identifying certification requirements, and notifying supervisors when authorizations are missing. You will calculate balances, document events, and schedule appointments while promoting patient safety and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Ability to interpret medical terminology.
• 1–2 years of clerical experience.
• Computer experience required; typing 30 WPM.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Collect data and input into the clinic registration system.
• Obtain signatures on forms and issue notices to patients or family.
• Verify insurance and determine required certifications.
• Notify supervisory personnel when authorization is required but not on file.
• Calculate amount due and request payment using hospital scripts.
• Document pertinent events about account handling.
