Job summary

Orion180 Insurance Co. is seeking a Territory Manager to drive growth by expanding our agency network and strengthening partnerships across the states we serve.

You will recruit, onboard, and support agencies while delivering value through strategic relationship management and data-driven performance insights. The role requires 5+ years in P&C insurance or related sales, a valid P&C license (or willingness to obtain within 60 days), and the ability to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in P&C insurance, mortgage industry sales, or business development.
• Active P&C license required, or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Familiarity with underwriting guidelines and processes is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Agency Onboarding: Partner with Onboarding Team to integrate new agencies.
• Drive Growth: Promote Orion180 products to independent agencies to increase premium, policy count, and territory performance.
• Build Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with decision-makers, producers, CSRs, and support staff.
• Communicate With Influence: Deliver clear verbal and written communication; present to groups via webinars and meetings.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert: Provide guidance on underwriting guidelines, appetite, and procedures.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with Customer Service and Underwriting to resolve issues and support agents and policyholders.
• Monitor & Report Performance: Create and interpret Excel-based reports to track KPIs and inform decisions.
• Stay Market-Aware: Track market conditions, competitor activity, and regulatory changes.
