Job summary

National General Holdings Corp., part of The Allstate Corporation, seeks a Direct Sales Agent Specialist to drive growth by generating new business, cross-selling, and maintaining a strong book of customers. The role combines in-person and phone-based selling, with emphasis on community engagement and outbound prospecting.

You will build a local pipeline, develop partner relationships, and stay informed on products and underwriting guidelines to meet performance and customer experience

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience.
• P&C licensing (Preferred) or must attain required licensure within 90 days of joining the company.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-sell, and retention
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline, including local lead generation and referrals
• Develop relationships within the community (e.g., dealerships, events, local partners) to support business growth
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to convert opportunities into sales
• Partner with leadership to support sales and local marketing initiatives
• Stay informed on products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition
